Welcome to Growth Week in the Simple Living Challenges!

Every Monday we do different challenges toward simple living.  They include cleaning, organizing, moving things out of house and more.

This week is about focusing on adding more of what you want into your life. When you add what you love into your life, it makes it easier to part with the things that are less important.

One of my favorite sources of growth in the last few years have been books.  Books have a way of stretching my thinking and helping me focus.

I wanted to share with you today my top 5 favorite growth books from the last few years. Your assignment this week is growth, if you are looking for a new book to reach check these ones out :)

Ready?

Have an old box laying around that you can use to ship some things out of the house?  Grab it!

Every Monday we have a simple challenge, each week of the month has a specific theme — this week is week 1 which means.

Something is leaving the house

Either by donating … or by trash, it’s sad, but lots of the ‘stuff’ we hold onto really doesn’t have much value to anyone else but us.

Ok, grab the box and lets go!

Ready for another month of simple living habit creation?

Welcome to the beginning of month 4!

Want to see what we have been up to for the last 3 months?

I am so excited to be starting April!  I understand that winter has beauty and that there are lots of outdoor sports to do during the winter… but I just don’t like winter.  I was born and raised in Canada… and I am still a big cold weather wimp.

So the start of April is cause to celebrate!

Ready to do some cleaning and saying ‘good-bye’ to winter?

Simple Living Challenge Week 2

March 11, 2013 in Simple Living Weekly Challenges

Welcome back to the Simple Living Challenges!

Week 2 is a week we focus on learning and personal growth.

Lots of simple living, minimalist living, and organization is focused on the clutter (both inside out outside).  It is important to de-clutter but this week is about the reason for the de-cluttering.

With all the extra stripped away, what do you want to do with your time?  Who do you want to be?  What do you want to give?
