Christmas Week Book Giveaway #1

Image: by Kookkai_nak

I have had the privilege preview and review several books this year.  All have been by authors I love and respect and it has been super fun.  For several I have also received hard copies for giving away on my blog that I wasn’t able to do with our travels.

So, what better time than now!  Christmas week book giveaways!

Snuggle in for winter reading with some of these 🙂  This will be the first of 3 days of book giveaways.  Entries will be collected until Dec 31 at midnight central standard time and winners will be notified January 1st, 2013.

Giveaway #1 is 2 (two) copies of Until We All Come Home by Kim De Belcourt

Until We All Come Home is an amazing book!  I read it months ago and I still find myself thinking about it all the time.  Here is my original review.   This was by far my favorite story book of the year.  It was suspense, love, twists, challenges, and it was all a true account instead of a made up story.

You could say this book is about:

  • A mothers courage
  • International adoption
  • God working
  • True love
  • Living undercover
  • …and so much more.

Some books (and hopefully most true stories about adoption) slowly build to a climax.  Instead, this book is all climax… it starts immediately and doesn’t let you stop reading till the end.   And the end is a happy one!

For the Giveaway:

I have 2 hard cover books to giveaway.  2 winners will each receive 1 copy.  Entries are not limited to the US but I will only cover shipping to the US.  If you would like to cover the extra shipping to your country please feel free to enter.  Entries need to be by readers 18 years of age or older.

To enter simply leave a comment on this blog post between now and the end of the year (central time).  You may only enter once for this book but you can enter for the other giveaways later this week.  (one entry per book).  For legal reasons I also have to say that I am not liable for any damaged caused by this giveaway or any injury caused by this book.

It is not required that you share this giveaway on social media but I would love it if you would share it with your friends 🙂

Stay tuned for another giveaway tomorrow!

Congratulations to winners Christine and Valerie!

  32. Elizabeth Elizabeth

Please enter me in the drawing for the book. Adoption is near to my heart. Thank you!

Thank you for the opportunity to own this book. We have many
friends who have adopted children. How great to know that this
book has a happy conclusion because the news about Russian
children being banned from being adopted in to the USA is so
sad. Some families already had the adoption in process.
Russian President Vladimar Putin signed a bill to ban Americans adopting Russian children. It becomes effective Tuesday with the start of the new year.
The book sounds as though it would be uplifting and positive. 🙂
