Simple Living Challenge Week 2

Back to my favorite Simple Living challenge.  Challenge 2!

Did you check out last weeks challenge?  This is the reward!  This is where you can live like you have simplified already.  You can ignore the clutter and enjoy simple minimalist living for a week.

Last week was the work, this week is the fun.

Ready?

Simple Living Challenge Week 2 is Growth Week

How would you live if you already were at your minimalist goals?  We have dreamed about it, this is the week to live like you have achieved it?  It will give you motivation to continue.

If you already had your simple life how would you spend your time?  What would you work on?  How would you grow?  How would you contribute to the world?

…. or would you just sleep all week 🙂  That is probably okay too.

This is the week to live it!  How will you work on growth this week?

You read last month, do you want to read something again?  Since you read last month do you want to create this month?  Write, draw, start a yoga class?

Since I write about what I read all the time (thanks for listening), I am going to read again this week.

I would love to hear what you are going to try this week.  Let me know in the comments.  If you have any good book recommendations I would love to hear as well.

Enjoy!

I have Jen Hatmakers book on hold at the library and I’m picking it up today. It should be a good read, I’ve heard lots of great things about it.

  2. I really enjoyed Jen Hatmaker’s book. I hope you do too!

Cleaning out my book shelf last week I found my old copy of “Celebration of Discipline” by R. Foster along with it’s journal workbook. I loved this book 20 years ago. I have started the book and workbook over again and am eager to revisit the topics now that I am in a different stage in life. It helps that I have made changes and have a time set aside for reading and reflection each day.

Thank you again for the encouragement!

I’m loving your posts, but in reading on my iPad, I’m having difficulty scrolling up/down without my finger touching something inadvertently and another page flips around from an ad or something. Is this just me??

    • Gloria, so sorry you are having trouble. I don’t usually work on my site on the ipad. There shouldn’t be adds except for the one spot on the top left hand side. There is links through the post, but I didn’t think they were that touchy. I am so sorry you are having trouble.
