We made it to the end of the month!  This is the 4th Simple Living Challenge this month and the 12th of the year.

This week we are planning, recording our accomplishments, dreaming and celebrating for the week.

This week I thought I would see if I could challenge you to do something every day.

Are you ready?

Simple Living Challenge #4 – Think, Plan, and Live in the Present

Last month we did some thinking and planning.  This week I really want to challenge you to live in the present.

I know you have been planning and working toward a simple life but it is possible to get into the habit of planning and working and never stop.  This is the week to practice stopping.  Practice enjoying life a bit.

There is seven days in the week… 

Can you create 7 ways (one for each day) to remind yourself to live in the present?

  • Do you want to treat yourself to a little treat each day to help you remember?
  • What about making a pack with a family member or friend to spend sometime talking or hanging out each day this week?
  • Maybe you could use some quiet time (15-20 minutes) each day to sit with your thoughts?

All these are ways you can remind yourself to remember and enjoy the present.

Life is so much work, make sure to take some time this week to do a little play 🙂

  1. I have been doing the “Early to Rise” Challenge and I have really enjoyed my time alone to reflect in the morning. It is nice to get up before everyone else and just be present.

    This was the hardest challenge yet! I think that I have forgotten how to hang out.
