Category: Books on Simple Living

These are some of my reflections from my favorite simple living books. Books are often the window, the kick, the way to dream, about a better simple life that is focused, uncluttered, and centered around what matters most.

Act Accordingly with Colin Wright

act accordingly by Colin WrightI am super privileged to have received an advanced copy of Colin Wright’s new book ‘Act Accordingly‘.  I am even more excited he agreed to do an interview so I could share with you more about him and his ideas.

I have been following Colin since I first discovered the minimalist idea.  He is an awesome example of someone who is thinking for himself and creating his own life.  In his latest book, Act Accordingly,  he talks a lot about his ideas and outlook on life.

So here we go!

Interview With Colin Wright

Before we get started, tell me a bit more about yourself.  How would you introduce yourself to someone new?

The quick answer that I usually give is that I’m an author, entrepreneur, and full-time traveler.

Released Today – Simple Living Handbook

simplelivinghandbookcoverwidget1I am so excited to say that The Simple Living Handbook‘ is published!

This is my first traditionally published book and I can’t really express how exciting it is!

The Simple Living Handbook is a combination of a guide book to simplifying your life with the story of how we simplified ours.  It talks specifically about simple living in the home, our lives, and our minds.

It has been my baby for over a year now and I am pretty proud of it.

Publishers Weekly reviewed it and said:

“While readers might be expecting yet another book on how to simply clean and organize material possessions, the author goes several steps further to apply the
simplification process to all areas of life. This thought-provoking offering will have
readers seeing their lives and possessions in a new light.”

Since I got a preview copy of The Ultimate Book Bundle last week I have had a bunch of fun going through the ebooks and courses.  I wanted to tell you about some of the fun resources we are using.

Most of my reading material has been purchased through book bundles and my kindle is full because of it.  This has been handy for both minimalist living and traveling (especially now that we are in China and books are too heavy to bring)

I wanted to share with you the top 10 we are reading and using.
